In some operations like cross-docking or manufacturing, pallets that are delivered to an inbound staging area needs to be moved throughout the facility to different quality control or staging areas. The pallets are placed in staging lanes and needs to be scanned and delivered to an appropriate area.
Robots Driven by BALYO can be equipped with a barcode reader that can scan a pallet and determine the appropriate destination. This can be done by interfacing with a WMS or an ERP system.
