The VEENY AGV/AMR is built on a standard OEM trilateral forklift to ensure rapid delivery and unmatched scalability to handle the majority of standard very narrow aisle racking applications in warehouses.

VEENY traverses warehouse and manufacturing environments using 3D LiDAR placed on top of the robot in parallel with a Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) algorithm.
While many AGV/AMR vendors use SLAM for navigation, BALYO has perfected the use of this technology specifically for warehouses and manufacturing environments through years of research and development and proprietary algorithms. This means VEENY can be easily integrated into greenfield or brownfield facilities without any additional infrastructure like reflectors, lasers, magnets, or QR codes.
Correlating in real time what the robot sees (using LIDAR) to what it knows (point cloud reference map), the VEENY is ensured to navigate with pinpoint accuracy.
VEENY uses 3D cameras for the precise picking and dropping of pallets. This process seamlessly matches the image captured by 3D cameras positioned beneath the forks with a 3D model of a reference pallet stored within the robot’s memory. The VEENY robot also uses a unique algorithm to counter mast oscillation at heights for safe pick and drop up to 17m/ 56feet.
BALYO’s 3D perception algorithm also means that the VEENY robot can work with virtually all kinds of pallets within the same environment, which is extremely useful for logistical operations with high SKUs ( Stock Keeping Units )
The 3D camera also checks for the available free space before dropping a pallet in a location, further enhancing VEENY's accuracy to unprecedented levels.
